Included in this benefit is Fraud Assistance, a comprehensive service designed to help with the hassle of clearing one's good name. Members also receive expert help to assist them in organizing paperwork, advising you about notifying creditors and more.
• Card Patrol - Identity thieves care about one thing, stealing personal information and selling it to make money. Sophisticated, real-time, early warning technology monitors various chat rooms across cyberspace for members personal information. In the event that identity theft occurs, members will be assigned a personal caseworker to take them through the resolution process. Members register online at www.cardpatrol.net.
• Payment Card Protection - Protects members credit, debit, and ATM cards in the event of loss or theft. Members will register their card numbers and, with one phone call, will be able to cancel cards, stop unauthorized purchases and request new cards using a toll-free 24-hour number.
• Credit Alert - With 24-hour, daily credit monitoring, members will be alerted automatically of certain negative changes to their credit. It doesn't prevent identity theft, but it can greatly reduce its impact by allowing one to minimize the damage. If there are no changes to a members credit, they will receive a quarterly notification letting them know that nothing has changed. The initial enrollment in Credit Alert will be valid for one year with an option to re-enroll at no additional cost.
